27/03/07 - Alan Parker vs The Orb - "Grey Clouds" appears on Annie Nightingales new compilation album Y4K. You can hear the tracks and buy the album here and you can also buy it, or the individual track from iTunes. The track is also on the Alan Parker Urban Warrior Blast from the Past CD, available form the shop on this website.
22/09/06 - Simon in the USA at the opening of Banksy's latest 'exhibition' Barely Leagal [more information]
28/06/06 - Simon will be joining Stewart Lee, Robin Ince, Josie Long and Martin White at the Tate Modern on 5th July and 13th September, for 'Not Through Jerry': an evening of comedy in response to the Pierre Huygne Exhibition. 27/11/05 - Simon has been shortlisted as one of four comics in line for a possible £10,000 prize to use for work on new projects.
Lynn Fergusson, Karen Laws and Lucy Montgomery are also nominated for the prize in the 2006 Arts Foundation Felowship for Comedy Writing. There are four other categories in the awards.
The Arts Foundation fellowship is designed to ‘buy time' for the winner so they can concentrate on their work without worrying about financial constraints.
The Awards will be held on 26th January at Pentagram, Notting Hill. More Information [1] [2]
27/11/05 - Tickets have just been released for BANTER, a brand-new panel show for BBC Radio 4, hosted by Andrew Collins, the film editor for Radio Times and host of Radio 2's The Day The Music Died.
Regular panellists will include comedians: Richard Herring, Russell Howard, Will Smith, as well as the regular panellists, BANTER will feature guest appearances from a selection of the nation's finest and best-loved comedy talent.
Panellists with a sense of humour have it out with each other to come up with their definitive "top threes" in categories covering anything from science to cinema, and from playwrights to Playstation.

12/11/05 - Simon is appearing on a special Sudoku programme on UKTV G2 called Street Cred Sudoku, hosted by Radio One's Colin Murray. You can play along at home by downloading the grids here. The programmes run from Sunday 13th November, see this for schedule. There are lots of comedy guests, sadly at the moment, I don't know which episode(s) Simon is on, why not watch it all and go mad trying to work out the puzzles.
